The Williams Wedding is one that I knew from the moment I first met Taylor and her mother at my office, that I would be absolutely overjoyed to be a part of! I met Taylor and her mother through a referral from the Philbrook Museum. They had so many ideas of what they wanted the wedding to look like, feel like, and vendors to book but needed help pulling all the ideas together and a professional to manage planning and coordination! The whole wedding came together just as envisioned, as a real life modern fairytale!
The Philbrook Museum was a stunning backdrop with it’s opulent architecture and lush gardens! Guest were immediately swept into a experience of luxury while their cars were valeted and they stepped out onto a breathtaking view of the formal gardens from the terrace. We flew Daniel Morris in from Florida to serenaded friends and family with his mix of classical and modern music on the violin! The bride was escorted through the gardens and down the aisle by her father and with her younger sisters holding her train. Once at the alter, the grooms grandfather officiated the ceremony.
Following the nuptials, friends and family enjoyed mocktails on the terrace while the newlyweds took pictures around the garden and museum with Megan Kay Photography from Dallas. *Side note: if you are a Bachelor Nation fan, Megan was the photographer for Madi Prewett’s wedding to Grant!* Okay, now back to Taylor and Drake’s wedding! Dinner was served in the south formal garden with twinkling lights overhead giving of soft glow and the Gatzby Jazz Band setting the ambiance. Just Catering did a fantastic job of catering a full plated dinner for the guests in the garden reception.
The long, stepped South Formal Garden of the Philbrook was donned with tables decorated with vintage inspired florals created by Gail Choate, hand calligraphed details by Melinda Rae, and rentals from Party Pro! Our team oversaw and managed the setup of the garden starting with nothing and within a few short hours, filled with tables, chairs, linens, place settings, lighting, flowers, cake, and a band! It’s always exciting. to work Philbrook weddings as we pull together everything from a blank slate to fully setup within 3 hours!
After dinner, a delicious cake was served and guest found themselves swaying on the dance floor to the smooth tunes from the Gatsby Jazz Band. The evening concluded with the newlyweds getting swept away in a vintage Bentley from Tulsa Wedding Car! As the couple was driven off, Taylor poked out the window and exclaimed “I love you daddy!” The Osborne and Williams families were an absolute dream to work with! We also want to make sure to give a huge thank you to all the vendors for all their hard work and contribution! They are each linked below.
