Your wedding is a once in a lifetime event that you would not want anything to fall off the plan. It is a very engaging affair even months before to make sure all goes well on that big day. However, do not forget that after all the planning the wedding will not be complete without you, the bride. As polished the venue will be, the focal point will be you. Take a look at these tips on how to achieve the perfect beauty routine before your big day to make you look and feel like the most beautiful bride.
Tips to creating the perfect beauty routine
To get started, you need to make a personal commitment to follow this routine, just as you would not miss your visit to the gown designer in town. With time you will find it easier and refreshing, as your beauty results will become more and more clear.
Book a visit with the dermatologist
Your skin contributes highly to the bigger picture of you. Its look will be one of the most notable features of your body, but again it is very sensitive. You need to engage a dermatologist as early as six months before your big day. It will give you adequate time to make follow-ups on prescriptions for any issues you may have like acne and uneven skin, as well as complexion check.
Wash your face daily
The easiest and simple way to keep your face healthy is to wash it daily with soap and water gently and without the use of washcloth. Do this in the morning and before going to bed. It’s also recommended to use at least three weekly micro-current facials before your wedding day.
Get enough sleep
Adequate sleep throughout your wedding planning cannot be overlooked. Lack of enough sleep will make you fatigued, which can lead to relationship and wedding planning stress, and has the potential to lead you to make decisions that you typically would not make. Set and stick to a bedtime and wake up time that works for your body and mind.
Eat healthily
Even if dieting is not your thing, try as much to check on what you eat. Healthy eating is a key factor in radiant and glowing skin. When we find ourselves eating food high in fat, salt, and carbohydrates, it can not only leave us feeling exhausted with lack of energy, but can also generate some acne and dry skin, especially around the chin and forehead area. With so much depending on your health, it’s important to not water down your dermatologist’s efforts by unhealthy eating.
Exfoliate
Start exfoliating your skin one to two times a week, starting 4 months before the wedding. The exfoliation helps remove dead skin on your face, allowing your skin to breathe, resulting in healthy-looking skin. On the morning of your wedding, use one more exfoliating mask before applying your makeup to achieve a smooth and poreless look that will last all day long.
